Overview

As the State Government’s central land and development agency, DevelopmentWA requires the full spectrum of communications and public relations services.

Purple has been a trusted partner for DevelopmentWA for more than seven years, providing support with everything from media statements and project collateral, event management and planning, issues management, board and executive presentations, speeches and strategy sessions.

Challenge

The nature of the work we do with DevelopmentWA requires diverse skills and talents delivering services across corporate, metro, regional and industrial scopes. The agency has a complex operating environment as a government trading enterprise with responsibilities to two State Ministers and a Board, and as an industry operator actively leading and driving innovation for the property and development industry.

We support DevelopmentWA to carefully negotiate the complexities surrounding the promotion of growth strategies such as urban infill and greater density which can receive opposition from community, and consistently deliver quick turnarounds with tight deadlines.

Solution

The Purple team delivers both strategic and tactical support with comprehensive governance structures tailored to suit DevelopmentWA’s operating model. Purple has successfully re-bid for the DevelopmentWA contract three times.
