We’re excited to announce that we have expanded into Queensland, with experienced adviser Peta Baldwin appointed to lead our new practice.

The opening of a Brisbane office will further boost our ability to service existing clients – several of which have operations in Queensland – and there are natural synergies between the West Australian and Queensland markets.

“Many of our clients continue to grow in the Queensland market and we’re committed to supporting their growth,” Purple Managing Director Warrick Hazeldine said.

“They will be in capable hands with Peta’s appointment. Peta brings strong investor relations expertise and well-developed insights into the wider Queensland market and she is familiar with the issues that are important to the resources and energy sector – having worked in-house at AngloGold Ashanti, Mount Isa Mines and Alcoa and consulted to listed companies such as Goldfields, Diamondcorp, Petra Diamonds and TanzaniteOne and their mining contractor partners.

“Peta also has knowledge of government process and policy, which is a skill valued by all our clients, and strong credentials in crisis communications planning, most recently having been part of the team which developed a multi-agency framework for Biosecurity Queensland.”

Peta is looking forward to spearheading our growth into Queensland.

“I’m delighted to join a consultancy that has such a strong background in investor relations, which is something I’m very passionate about,” she said.

“I look forward to working with Purple’s established clients in their Queensland operations and also to connecting with new clients and helping service their needs in an economy which has the resources industry as a leading growth sector.”
