Purple recognised as an Employer of Choice for the second year running

We’re proud to once again be recognised as an Employer of Choice in The Australian Business Awards.  

Although we’ve won a host of awards over the years, both regionally and internationally, we are particularly delighted with this one – which speaks to our focus and commitment to our people. 

Now in its sixteenth year, The Australian Business Award for Employer of Choice recognises organisations that develop workplaces that maximise the full potential of their workforce through established policies and practices which demonstrate effective employee recruitment and engagement.  

“The COVID-19 pandemic has presented one of the most significant business challenges ever faced by organisations across Australia. It created a critical need for leading organisations to adapt to new working environments and adopt new approaches to innovation whilst navigating the technical and operational constraints imposed by the lockdown,” said Tara Johnston, Australian Business Awards Program Director.

Purple’s People and Culture Manager Bri Kent said that the award recognised the organisation’s collective efforts.  

“Our excellence value and #greatertogether ethos are really ingrained in our business, and what we strive for with regard to our culture,” Bri said.

“This award is a reflection of the collective efforts of the whole team at Purple. I am so very proud of them, it’s a very well-deserved win.”
