Emily joined Purple in July 2024 following her tenure as interim Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director of the Property Council of Australia (WA Division). A respected advocate for the property industry, she brings extensive experience in policy development, advocacy, government relations, and corporate communications.
Emily is a specialist in crafting inspired, data and research-driven solutions to address policy and organisational challenges. She excels in media and stakeholder-led campaigns, leveraging clear and consistent strategic messaging, effective stakeholder optimisation, and robust social media engagement to achieve desired operational and financial outcomes.
A passionate advocate for positive change, Emily is dedicated to empowering the industry to foster the creation of vibrant cities, establish and maintain inclusive and sustainable communities, facilitate the delivery of diverse and affordable housing, and contribute to a robust and resilient Western Australian economy.
Before joining the Property Council, she delivered successful media, data, and stakeholder-led campaigns across a diverse range of industries. Emily holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Politics, Government, and International Relations, and is a respected, well-reasoned influencer and trusted advisor – accomplished in engaging and negotiating with a broad cross-section of stakeholders including diplomatic and political classes, senior government officials, C-suite executives, and media.
