Director
Peter is a sought-after strategic communications professional with expertise in and a focus on financial communications, speech writing, issues management, media relations and media training.
A former head of Purple’s Investor Relations team, Peter provides C-suite advice to ASX and unlisted companies, particularly in the resources sector. Since joining Purple in 2017, Peter has devised and supported communications strategies for more than $4 billion worth of corporate transactions that included cross-border deals, IPOs and schemes of arrangement.
Peter joined Purple following a 20-year career in daily journalism across the Kalgoorlie Miner, The West Australian, Australian Financial Review and The Times of London as a reporter and editor. He retains strong connections to and an understanding of Australia’s media landscape.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts, double-majoring in Journalism and Politics, and a Master of Business Administration, both from Curtin University.
